Solid Floating Floor
The Solid Traditional Floating Floor - Ideal For Unit Application
Do you live in a unit and want a real traditional timber floor?
Don’t like the prefab look of all those engineered, pre-finished floating floors & laminates?
Worried about how long a prefab engineered floor will last? (experience says 3-8 years)
Will the size, style or click system be available in the future if you need a repair or want to add on to other areas or rooms in the unit or house?
Have you been told you can’t have a solid traditional timber floor in your unit from carpet shops, in-experienced flooring sales people and flooring retailers?
Don’t worry, read below –
TouchWood Flooring offers a solid traditional tongue and groove floor system that is floating ( not fixed to the sub-floor ) on 2 layers of ply cross layered and laminated together to create a solid base on a foam or rubber underlay.
Traditional timber flooring has been around for hundreds of years. We are still re-sanding and re-finishing timber floors that have been fitted around 90 years ago.
This system will last like a traditional timber floor does, it feels like a traditional floor does, that’s because it is a real traditional tongue and grooved timber floor.
You have the control to choose the coating, choose the timber, size, width and grade without being governed by the limited Australian species prefab options available.
